Salt spray on the open coast corrodes metal much faster than inland. We re-detail with suitable materials and recommend a maintenance interval for your exposure.
That is usually rising damp or salt damp, or soil and paving above the damp-proof course. Repainting will not fix it; the moisture source has to be treated first.
