Rising damp and walls that never dry out
Long, wet winters keep walls and slabs damp. Rising damp, damp patches behind cupboards and mould in corners are common where a damp-proof course has failed or soil is banked against the walls, especially on older farmhouses and cottages.
We find the moisture source first and quote damp-proofing, wall treatment or drainage changes that deal with it.
